diseases of aquatic organisms such as fish and shellfish. It was first introduced in 2004 for systematic and professional health management of aquatic life when the
"Growing Fisheries Promotion Act" was enacted on January 14, 2002
It treats and prevents diseases such as fish and algae living in fresh water and the sea.
In addition, we conduct tasks such as autopsy on fish that died in fish farms or outdoors to
determine the cause of the disease. A person who is qualified to take the exam must obtain a
license from the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries after passing the national examination. Fisheries disease managers periodically visit fish farms to conduct on-site management to prevent
diseases from developing, and if diseases occur, Diagnose the disease quickly and accurately and prescribe medication

01 Fish safety inspection

Since aquaculture aquatic life is directly related to human food, the fish safety test is a national project to secure safe food. The exported farmed aquatic life can only be exported if it is passed through a mandatory fish safety inspection. Safety checks are not mandatory for domestic consumption yet,
Most of the farmed aquatic life from Wando is being shipped after undergoing a fish safety test. The inspection items for the fish safety test are largely composed of four items: bacteria, parasites, cudoa, and antibiotic residues.
